Who is Fren?
An entity that resides in the deeper swamps of Walgore, where it feeds on ghouls (and anything else) unfortunate to cross its path as it wanders the Moss Roadways. Though its most well-known vessel shape for the multitude of souls housed within is that of a frog, Fren is able to take on other forms.
Clay suspects their current appearance reflects how the dominant soul may have looked during their lifetime. It now proves useful in helping Fren enter towns and certain establishments without drawing too much attention to themselves.
Its initial curiosity has led to a friendly attachment and travel companion for Jaysong, despite the concerns of those around them.
