After dying due to stress, Jaeshawn Young finds himself reincarnated in Kittery, a land of humanoid cat-like beings.
Despite the unusual circumstances surrounding his fourth life, Jay is determine to live a more stress-free life. But first, the recently reborn catfolk has to fight off the previous lives trying to reclaim the body they once inhabited. And that is somehow the easiest part.
“Reading the Roots” WIP

Town guard Tesh Highwater lives a comfortable life with her family in Histle until the once slumbering Idlewilds extends its reach into the mundane world again. The coven knows not what it seeks but her wife, Celin, is drawn deeper to the forest as the days pass. Tesh knows witches don’t always return unchanged from the Idlewilds. If they return at all.
The decision is an easy one.
But the effects of Tesh’s choice will reach beyond herself, her family, even Histle to the hungering magic within the Idlewilds and potentially the lands beyond it.
