The hero(?!) of the story. Having to come to terms with your own death is far from easy but it’s a road Jaeshawn is determine to take to reach a low-stress life. Though at the time, he didn’t realize said road involved fighting off the physical manifestations of his previous lives trying to reclaim the body they once inhabited. Luckily, Jae has his new family and friends to help him. And there’s a lot to get used to: a new appearance, new home and new troubles to get into.
Jae still retains some of his behaviors from his life as a human, including his studious and adaptable nature that helps him adjust to the culture of Kittery. Which is more helpful than not since he finds himself in situations he’d rather avoid but usually has to address since they often conflict with his own wants and needs.
