Last year I held off on diving into Ascendance of a Bookworm until I had either: a.) completed other series I own or b.) at least caught up to recent releases. But I never stopped thinking about this series since watching season one month ago. So, I broke down and bought this volume to pick up where the anime left off. Except that’s part 2 volume 3 instead of part 2 volume 2, which is what I ordered…
(This could have easily been avoided if I had read the summaries but that’s too easy.) So I’ll have to wait a little longer until I purchase the next volume. Not that I mind. Especially since the light novel had two short stories after the epilogue for me to enjoy!
