NaNoWriMo 2020 Update

It would’ve made sense to do a nanowrimo update halfway through the month rather than five days before December. But this isn’t a normal nano run for me so it works, right? Right. And now, the update!

I’ve probably made the most progress with Get Your Gun WIP. I finished outlining the prologue and started on the main plot and world-building. I wasn’t expecting to dive into the latter just yet but the details I’ve picked at have answered some questions about how part of Rook’s world operates, even if those details won’t be seen immediately. Also, rough map layouts!

I’ve brainstormed an additional three stories, bringing it to my goal of nine of the twelve planned for A Place for Papers for the month. Three outlined and another almost done. Self-indulgence is well underway.

Roots might have the least amount of headway, though any notes I make end up in the respective discord channel so it’s harder to track unless I make a point of it. I also started Roots well before GYG and Papers. It’s a story that’s taking its time.

This is honestly the most fun I’ve had during any nano I’ve participated in. This might be my nanowrimo wrap up post since I don’t see myself posting another in the next few days. If so, I hope we all end nano happy with what we have written and achieved!
